I Met Julie At My Local Coffee House.
She has been bothered in her home by seeing a ghost in her bathtub. Not something I would like to experience.
Julie believes this ghost has been following her around since she was five years old. It disappeared for a few years but returned. Now that she’s in her early 20’s she wants to know who this ghost is and why she sees it in her bathtub.
Well my friend, Barb never passes up an opportunity to go ghost hunting. As for me, since it was daylight, I agreed to go along with them.
Besides having a ghost in your bathtub — really how bad could it be?
When we first walked into the house, I got a bit of a weird feeling as though I wasn’t alone. I kind of expected to see a cat staring at me, but Julie had no pets — just this bathtub ghost.
Barb was right on Julie’s heels as she walked down the hall to the bathroom. I hung back — I wasn’t eager to see a naked ghost in the bathtub.
I was almost knocked down by Julie as she frantically exited the bathroom. Before Barb could explain what happened and to calm Julie down, the lights started flickering and lightbulbs began popping. The television turned on and all the electric appliances turned on.
The Shower Curtain Moved As Julie And Barb Entered The Bathroom
That’s what scared Julie. With all the electrical interference going on, I was ready to run out as well . . . but I stood my ground and waited for my heart to stop pounding . . .
Once everything calmed down, Julie explained that wherever they lived or visited, that same ghost woman was in the bathtub. She thought she should be over it by now, but the shower curtain moved and then she saw the woman’s ghost in the bathtub. She’s not old or frightening-looking. It’s just startling to see a stranger taking a bath in your house.
Julie explained that sometimes the lights would flicker on and off, but nothing like what we experienced with lightbulbs popping and everything electrical turning on.
No one else in Julie’s family has seen this ghost. She has an older sister and a younger sister. No one else experienced lights flickering in the bathroom or the shower curtain rustling. At least that day, Julie received confirmation that something paranormal was going on — Barb saw the woman’s apparition in the bathtub.
We did want answers for Julie and called in Barb’s psychic friend who agreed to hold a seance — why after midnight I’ll never know. Maybe to freak us all out a bit — fortunately it was a calm, hot August night. We held the seance in the kitchen at the table — not in the bathroom or bathtub . . .
Evidently, This Ghost Attached Itself To Julie When She And Her Family Was Visiting Universal Studios
I thought visiting Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion gave you a ghost to take home . . .
Well, this ghost had been in some movies and commercials — yes, in a bathtub — she does love her bubble baths.
She did agree it was time for her to move on. She meant no harm. However, I’ve been regularly checking my front bathroom’s bathtub and keep the shower curtain in there open . . . I don’t need another ghost hanging around my house.
I hope you enjoyed Julie’s true ghost story and my personal experience ghost hunting. I do thank you for stopping by!
Until next time.
