Vickie’s Had Enough!
Vickie has spent the past five years owning and living in a 130-year-old home, but now she’s preparing to move out. However, her experience with a ghost in the house has been nothing short of terrifying. Before she moved in, the house had been vacant for two years, and the eerie occurrences started immediately. From the lingering scent of recently struck matches to the doorbell ringing at 3 a.m. every night during one long summer, Vickie was constantly on edge. The ghost would even enter her bedroom, watching her for hours until she was too terrified to sleep.
The presence of the old, sweaty, and dirty man was unmistakable. Strangely, after selling the home, Vickie thought the paranormal activity would finally cease, but she was wrong.
Now, between midnight and 1 am every night, she’s woken up by someone strolling down the hallway and entering her bedroom, just to observe her.
And sometimes, she’s startled awake by the ghost’s breath in her ear.
Desperate for some relief, Vickie asked her husband to switch sides of the bed, but he never heard or experienced anything. Shockingly, the night she changed positions, something actually bit her ear, leading her to seek medical assistance.
Despite her pleas for the ghost to leave, it’s not budging. To make matters worse, her baby has been waking up screaming at 1 a.m. for almost two months, causing Vickie intense distress as she tries to comfort him alone. With her husband working the night shift, they feel isolated and vulnerable.
They are set to move in a month, but Vickie fears the ghost may follow them.
A Few Thoughts On Vickie’s Haunted House
As I understand it, when we smell burned matches and no one we know recently struck a match, then it is a strong indication you have a demon nearby. I’m truly sorry to say that no matter how lovely a house is I would calmly and steadily walk out! I don’t want to deal with demons!
I can understand why Vickie would remain in a house for 5 years. Moving is a lot of work and expensive — not to mention investing in a new home. And sometimes we don’t believe the house is haunted . . . or we can solve the problem. But when you bring a child into that atmosphere, moving may be the best option. It was excellent she found a buyer.
Insofar as the ghosts, spirits, and demons following her — there is always that possibility. The important thing is not to give in to the fear — they feed on it! Try to be as upbeat as possible! Think only pleasant thoughts and when doubt or fear creeps in, stop it immediately!
It’s also a good idea not to take a lot of the furnishings from the old house into the new one — it’s an added expense, but well worth it in the long run.
Just Wanted To Add A Bit Of The Halloween Spirit!
Richie’s Ouija Board Story — I’m sorry, I can’t resist these stories. I won’t mess with a Ouija Board nor have one in my house, but I will listen and share Ouija Board stories.
A mysterious encounter with an old Ouija Board opened a portal to the unknown. Richie’s son, Will, had once seen glowing figures in his room, dismissing it as a bad dream. But as they delved deeper into the Ouija Board’s messages in their historic house, they uncovered astonishing answers. Spirits unknown to them began to communicate, revealing secrets of the past. What started as a playful game turned into an extraordinary journey of discovery. A little 7 year old girl came through stating her name as Anna Miller, she was run down by a truck on Oak Ridge Road back in 1927. Richie was fascinated and skeptical.
He didn’t think about the Ouija Board nor Anna for about a month or so. That was until he was taking a walk on the outskirts of his property and distinctly saw two people “sneaking” around. Thinking that someone was trying to break in, Richie approached one of them, yelling, “What do you want?”. He could see one of the men was wearing a plaid shirt and bib overalls when he took an abrupt right turn and went right through the wall of the old shed near the woods. Richie could see each and every detail of his face, and the texture of his clothes! He looked just like a real person – that would “appear” under a full-lit moon. Richie stopped dead in his tracks, but somehow was not frightened out of his wits as one would suspect. Rather a comforting feeling came over him. He remembered before he yelled out that the other man fled into the woods.
Last month Richie was visiting his sister and her family at their house miles away. Her daughter had an old Ouija Board that her father found years ago in the attic of an old school that he once worked at. The planchette was missing, so for fun Richie went to work in his wood shop and made a nice wooden one for them. With her and her boyfriend at the board, Richie asked “Anna are you here?”
The board responded with a greeting to Richie and when asked other questions gave the same answers as before telling of her death.
This really freaked them out! Once the planchette began to move, Anna went on and on and on.
Lately, at night Richie and Will have seen someone fleeting past the kitchen window. Even their dog sends an alarm that somebody is on the property, but of course, when they go out to look, they see nothing.
